Updates for everyone on the OBRA List attending the Race.

Race courses are marked and look to be in good shape, as much gravel and debris has been removed from the roads as possible.

The Pro/1/2 & Cat 3 Field are closed, there is no waiting list. We have 100 riders in each race and a 10 person waiting list for each. Do not show up expecting to race if you are not on the roster.

All other categories are still open, Cat 4/5 Men (12 spots left), juniors 15-18, Pro/1/2 Women, Cat 3 Women, & Cat 4 Women. You can register at the race if you are not signed up.

Other news, Race Bible and Current roster are up online at www.willamettevalleyclassic.com, it is the new Race Bible and has been updated in several spots.

Race Bible changes to note. Friday Registration and Staging area. This has been moved to W6th street in Junction City, was at the Safeway, registration will be at St. Helens Church, across from the High school. Parking will be on the main roads, 6th and 10th street. DO NOT Park in the Church or High School parking lots. You may get towed by them if you do.

Only the Pro/1/2 Men will be allowed a Support Vehicle, if you have notified us please do so.

TT Times, there will only be 5 minutes between categories. ONLY Pro/1/2 Men & Women, Cat 3 Men, Masters 1/2/3 & 3/45 will do the TT. Times will be posted Friday night, in reverse GC, at Paul?s on 6th in Eugene and the Best Western in Creswell.

We are still working on a rolling enclosure for Saturday's Circuit race, we would like to have this for all categories if possible.

Remember early registration at Paul's on 6th street in Eugene on Thursday from 3pm-7pm. Location in the race bible. Avoid the lines and be ready to race on Friday without the stress of checking in.

Last but not least, please respect all the local residents and there property. We have portable toilets located as many places as possible and garbage cans. If you are caught littering, during the race as well, or using a tree to do your business you will be subject to dismissal from the race.

Thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors, with out you we would not be putting on this race.

See everyone in just a few days.

Well the spring season is pretty much over in Oregon and now it's time for the Stage Racing to begin.

First up on the agenda is The Willamette Valley Classic Stage Race. Coming in just 1 1/2 weeks, I hope everyone's training has been going as planned because this is going to be a leg tester.

We have closed registration for the PRO/1/2 Men with 10 riders on the waiting list.

The Men Cat 3 field had 2 cancellations so if you wanted in let me know. I will accept entries based on email recieved date and time.

The women's fields are looking good and strong as well. Remember we have all women racing seperate in Pro/1/2, 3 & 4 fields. Right now we have 55 women signed up to race accross the fields.

The Juniors race is up to 11 riders.

Updated race bible and roster will be uploaded soon at www.willamettevalleyclassic.com.

We are still looking for volunteers for the race.

Hey OBRA land,

We are still 4 months away from the Willamette Valley Classic Stage Race

but we are starting to receive registrations pretty quick.

As you may remember there was some filling of last years great events

and this year is looking no different.

At this point we are 1/3 full in the Cat 3 field already. I just had a

squad of 10 register from Sacramento California, and 4 guys register

that are coming in from New York this morning. In fact most all

registrations to date are from outside the state, so if you are in

Oregon and plan on coming don't wait to long.

For the Pro/1/2 Men field we have confirmation from 4 domestic pro teams

already and 3 more trying to work it into their schedule. That takes out

24 spots from 100 max riders for the confirmed teams.

Hope everyone training is going good this year, Cherry Pie is just

around the corner and then no rest for the wicked until next November.
