Jay,
As a newly upgraded Cat3 who raced Mt Hood as a Cat4 last year (and cheered on a Cat3 buddy in the Prologue)... I'm disappointed I won't have the opportunity to go anaerobic on Thursday evening! Just completing a Prologue as part of the stage race really is a treat for the slower cat's.
Seldom do the lower categories get to race the volume and frequency of the top cat's in the big stage races- Mt Hood was definitely an exception.
Sad, but it's still overall an epic 3 days of racing...

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Mt Hood Cycling Classic- No Prologue?
I am just wondering...how many potential Mt Hood Cat 3 / Master's riders
are disappointed that there is no Prologue for this stage race this
year?
In my opinion, that is what made this stage race very cool and unique...
Jay
