The OBRA website www.obra.org has the flyer posted for the Cherry Pie Road race. Note the changes, and I hope improvements to the race make it safer and the change will allow each category to race against their peers.
Added fields are:
Cat 1,2 only field
Cat 3 only field
Cat 4 only field
Cat 5 master 40+ only field
The other masters age change to 40+ (all categories except cat 5) and 50+ (all categories)
Also the field limits are listed on the flyer.
You can sign up early online.
Coming back is the fixed gear field
Cat 5
Women have parity with the men
Maybe the weather will get all the rain out of its system by February 19.
Hope you and your team can start the season with a fun, safe, and well run race.
Special Thanks to Willamette Valley Women's Cycling Team AKA Poplollies http://www.wvwcycling.org/ and the EWEB Windpower Team as well as help from Hutch's team and Pauls Bicycle Way of Life team. Thanks to WheelWorks cycle shop in Eugene and Co-Motion Cycles for providing the waterbottles to each rider.
