Hello OBRA,

I think many of you misunderstood my previous

e-mail. And after re-reading it I understand why

many of you took the attitude you did, and I

apologize for all those I offended!

I believe Daiman hit the nail on the head the best

with his e-mail though, Why do the "MTBers" want

more money and complain about prize lists (or lack

there of) and Roadies are content to race for pies?

It is a great question, why the difference in

attitude?

So, since I am a wild and crazy guy, this is what I

purpose since everyone in Oregon loves pies as

prizes so much!

Cherry Pie Road Race, Prize = Cherry Pies

Banana Belts, Prize = Banana Cream Pies (of course)

Dorena Lake RR, Prize = Apple Pies

Ice Breaker Cr it, Prize = Sweet Potato Pies

Piece of Cake, Prize = Cake (Duh!)

Kings Valley RR, Prize = Blueberry Pies

Willamette Valley Stage Race, Prizes = Stages,

Marion-berry Pies, Overall, Ice Cream Cake!

Silverton RR, Prize = Strawberry Pies

OBRA Rehearsal Race, Prize = Cheesecake

OBRA Championships, Prize = Double Decker Cake (who

needs a medal!)

High Desert Omnium, Prize = Banana Splits

Eugene Celebration, Prize = Brownies with a lil hemp

(It is Eugene after all!)

This would save promoters a ton of money, as they

wouldn't have to give out cash prizes, and everyone

would get a yummy dessert that everyone loves so

much!

J-Shucker

PS. If you are humor impaired, this later half of

this e-mail is a JOKE, I am not being serious. The

serious question is in the first half, why are

Roadies ok with Pie and MTBers want money? Let the

debate begin!

PPS. To every promoter in the state of Oregon, THANK

YOU VERY VERY VERY much for all your hard work,

effort, and time you put into your events, they all

are the best we could ask for! (seriously!!!)
