Cherry Pie RR (It's not about the pie)

I rode a 70 inch gear last year. I got dropped in the flats and still

struggled up the hill. I'll likely go bigger this year.

this

years flyer I actually have a question regarding the race.

I am thinking about doing the fixed category. I was wondering what gear

someone

might run for that course. Someone told me that Mikkel was turning over

a

horrendous gear

of like 90 inches!!! I doubt I would make it up the hill (a roller to

some)

with that big a gear.

What gear did some of you mortals run in that race last year?

Cheers!

I ran like 75" last year and that was too small, although I still had

issues getting up the hill(s) with it. I'm thinking even if one had to

walk/run, a higher gear would be much better. Although if I could have

kept a 120+ cadence for 15 miles it would have worked!
