Kool Stop carbon wheel brake pads

I use the Zipp pads made by Kool Stop and they work great on carbon rim
and very well on aluminum rims as well. No reason to use cork which do
not work very well.

They are the best in the world. Don't even think of messing with cork
pads. My carbon wheels actually stop better than my aluminum one's! I
use the 514 which are the ones made for Reynolds carbon wheels.
Koolstop also make a different compound for Zipp. I have not tried
their regular stock carbon ones even though I have a set. The 514 have
lasted me a whole season.
