If you¹re running Entourage on the Mac, do the following:
1. Create a folder in Entourage called ³Awesomely Interesting Messages from
OBRA²
2. In your inbox, select a message from OBRA.
3. Go to Tools > Mailing List Manager. It may open the Mailing List Manager,
forcing you to click ³new.² Go right ahead and do that.
4. It¹ll pop open a window with the obra@list.obra.org address already
filled out. (if it¹s not filled out, type obra@list.obra.org into the List
Address text box.)
5. There¹s a check box and pull-down menu there that says ³Move the messages
to this mailbox² (or something to that effect). Check the box and select
your ³Awesomely Interesting Messages from OBRA² folder.
6. Click OK.
7. Quit Entourage and turn off your computer.
8. Turn around three times.
9. Turn on your television to ABC and root for the Seahawks.
10. Turn off your television.
11. Turn your computer back on.
12. Launch Entourage. Problem solved!
Steps 7-12 are optional, and have not been approved by the FDA.

I believe you can manage online accounts in the same way.

I might be stating the obvious here, but most versions of Outlook have a
"Rules Wizard" under Tools that allows you to manage this quantity of
incoming e-mails from lists without affecting your day to day inbox
Simple steps:
Create a new folder under your Inbox and call it, say "OBRA"
Create a rule that says
Apply this message when e-mail arrives
With "OBRA Chat" in the subject line
Move it to the OBRA folder
Then, you can sort through what you're interested in at your leisure,
instead of sifting through them every time you check your e-mail
Bike on!

Yikes! I thought I would get occasional notices from OBRA. I really do not
want 60 emails a day.
Please remove me from this list.
Thank you.
