Doug,
It might be nice if you were to include your friend's name in your
message.
It seems a bit strange to send a message to ???.
Thanks,
Mark

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Cycling Questionnaire for Masters project
A friend of mine is working on a project for her masters in Museum
Studies and she is working on a project regarding cycling. Anyone who
would like to send their opinions (I know there are a lot of you!) here
is a chance to do so.
Please send responses to:

1. I would assume there are social clicks or groupings along biking
types
(mountain bikers vs. road cyclists), if so what are there more than
these
two? Are there smaller sub-sections or groupings (like messenger vs.
commuter, etc) within those larger categories? Which ones do you
consider
yourself - if any?
2. Where is the physical heart or centers of the cycling community?
3. What are the factors that bind this community together?
4. What are the primary institutions that support bikers
5. Obviously not being part of the cycling/biking community, can I use
the
term cycling/cyclist and biking/biker interchangeably? Is there any
other
term or lingo I should be aware of?
6. What would be the most important topics and messages you would like
an
exhibit about biking to cover? (Especially the social aspect)
We will be compiling information over the next two weeks - I am sure
you are busy, so any feedback or thoughts by then would be really
useful.
The exhibit will be housed in John F. Kennedy University's Berkeley
Gallery
in March.
