Hi Folks
The Sequim Road Race brought to you by Garage Racing and Pettit Oil is on
the 12th March 2006.
This is the second round race of the Washington Cup Competition, email
mpruitt@axleyusa.com for details
We will have some great prizes again as last year.
Cash prizes for Cat 1-2 and 3 men and Cat 1-3 women.
See http://www.garagebilliards.com/racing/sequim/
for all the latest details.

Note the road surface on the course is great this year (chip seal is now
much smoother) and any potholes (if any) will be clearly marked.
However this year there is a 10 foot by 10 foot rumble strip area located
about 100 yards from the intersection of Cays road with Woodcock road (see
map on website for details - click on it for a magnified view).
The rumble strip area consists of six, 3/4 inch deep ruts in the road which
area each 6 inches by about 10 feet wide.
As it's close to the intersection where traffic will be stopped, so we will
be directing riders around this area on the left hand side of the road and
on the large shoulder.
This area will be very clearly marked about 200 yards before it and we will
have a flagger near the area to indicate to the riders exactly where it is.
You can ride over it but you may want to consider not doing so on delicate
carbon rims.

Also please remember:

Race day registration only.

No race day licenses except for Cat 5 men and Cat 4 women, and no one year
USCF licenses on sale at the event.
WSBA numbers will be used and can be purchased at www.wsbaracing.com (not
for sale at the race). Rental numbers available at the race for a $10 rental
fee (of which $5 is refundable). For out-of-state riders there is no fee to
rent a number just a $5 deposit.
Hope to see you all there!
