Saddle Recommendations?

Tim Schauer

2006-04-05

Not only is supporting your local shops for your saddle choice a good
idea because many of them support us by supporting OBRA and our racing
community .....

Our team sponsor included (THANK YOU River City Bicycles!),...

BUT, it is also a good idea because I think they have a very similar
policy called "saddle comfort guarantee" or something similar. I think
you'll find you can't beat your local bike shops for service by
shopping/shipping at Walmoart .... uh... I meant Perfromance online.

me
to wrap the rails in tape so they didn't get scratched up, and that the
saddle had to come back looking new. It worked for me so I never took

When you can support your local bike shops, please do.

I had a saddle rail break (after about 2 years) and Performance replaced
the saddle. I only had to pay the difference between the original cost
and the new cost (about $10).

Well, I'm certainly not trying to derail the local shops because I've
gotten great service from Bike Gallery as well. Plus, I've gotten great
swag from Lakeside too. But, if you order online from Performance, you
can send just about anything back to them. It's almost like Nordstrom.

River City is fairly good about letting you return a saddle for a different model so long as it still is in new condition, and ride on your own bicycle over varied terrain probably is the only way to really tell.
