Eric, The rules are clear, if you are stopped for a train crossing, the officials will start the riders based on there arrival time, ie the Hoste group would have kept their 40 second or so adavantage over the Boonen group. The only thing they don't do is slow down the riders (or rider) who have already gone through. This is why Boonen insists he should have been 5th.
