What? No dorsal fins or ailerons? Anyone remember Auker's blueberry body suit (complete with lycra headcovering?) at the Jack Frost TT on Sauvie Island a couple of decades ago? Can't we all just look fast and not worry about coefficient of drag?

We already have the following rule:
"9.2 - CLOTHING
9.2.1 All riders must wear jerseys that cover the shoulders. Shorts must reach mid-thigh. No article of clothing may be worn that serves solely an aerodynamic purpose. "
Is someone proposing a change to this?

No article of clothing may be worn that serves solely an aerodynamic purpose. (Reason - keep unfair advantages out of competition) (Negative -hard to interpret and enforce)
Just so I understand this ruling . . .are we talking clothing like the Nike swiftsuits? Because I would like to have my duckies row as the same can be expressed about time trial equipment and there for if we call clothing then we need to call out equipment too as some people can not get all the fancy equipment.
Thanks
