Re: Online Route Mapping Applications

Hi Michael,

In efforts to find the "perfect" route mapping
application, I ended up writing my own (and perfect is
in the eye of the beholder). I used it for the Banana
Belt and Cherry Pie maps I put together, and I also
use it for mapping out triathlon courses (I'm a race
director). Here are some examples of the maps it
created:

http://www.onemillionrevolutions.org/maps/map.php?ID=33
http://www.onemillionrevolutions.org/maps/map.php?ID=5
http://www.onemillionrevolutions.org/maps/map.php?ID=258

If you want to play around with the back-end, you can
access it here:

http://www.onemillionrevolutions.org/maps/trial.php

The best part is, if you have suggestions or
criticisms, you can tell me and I'll implement it.
It's worked well for me and a variety of other
triathlons and marathons so far.

hope this helps,
Jeff
