The BTA will probably be organizing a Ride of Silence also.
I met with two staff members of the BTA last week and shared with them my
info and experience from last year.
I'm sure they can do a better job than I in getting the word out and
producing a safe, organized and meaningful event.
There's no reason why there can't be more than one or even two or three
Rides of Silence however.

Subject: Re: [OBRA Chat] 2007 Ride of Silence
Here's my suggestion for how I think OBRA members should honor injured
cyclists in the 2007 Ride of Silence. As many teams as possible in full
colorful race kit form up at Mt Tabor, then slowly and quietly and in a
tight respectful peloton, head down to Ladd's circle. We enter the circle do
a lap, then do a lap around each of the 4 rose gardens, do a another lap
around the circle and then head back up to Mt. Tabor. Simple, colorful, and
powerful.
Anyone interested in helping organize?
