First, let me start by saying how much I love OBRAland. You guys are great.
We definitely want to be fair and equitable when it comes to paying out for all categories regardless of skill level or gender. The decision to not include a Points Competition for the women was based on economics. Analyzing the attendance for the women at last year's races (6, 9, and 9 riders) made it difficult to justify the inclusion of a Points Competition.
I know there are plenty of Women out there who enjoy racing and who would enjoy this course. Here is the challenge, if all 3 Women's races have attendance of 15 riders or more a percentage of the entry fees will go towards a Points Competition 3 deep. If you want to get paid come out and race.
We want to apologize for any misunderstanding there may have been. We like women, I'm married to one and I have two infant daughters.
Ciao,
Aaron Coker
