Re: Anyone use Kelly "Take-Offs"?

It seems like if you mount them the proper way, you are forced to shift from
the brake hoods, which is not very conducive to drop bars on mt bikes, or at
least flared drop bars like WTB used to make.

I've tried them mounted upside down (shifter points downward) and it wasn't
that great of an experience.

Another slightly rare alternative are Suntour Command shifters, which are
somewhat useable from above and below the brake lever, but you get into the
issues of Suntour freewheel/cassette spacing vs Shimano.

What I would like would be to get some of the old WTB shifter mounts, which
work really well, but I haven't seen any for a long time.
