Back in 1979 during spring break 5 of us from the Stockton Bicycle Club were riding on Carmel Valley Rd in Calif when we came upon a very large, free-roaming, "make my day" fully equipped bull standing in the middle of the road. He charged at us a couple of times. We could not get past him for about 30 min, until some PYT cows came roaming by in the pasture behind him, and he decided it was better to make love not war.

We found a cow head while on a PSU team ride on Sauvie's:

We kept it.
