Joe, I also hit one in Fort Vancouver about 2 years ago...Same thing,
ran
out in front of me and I ran right over top of him....I felt really bad
because it broke the little guys back and when we turned around his

was going one way and his back the other....I was not sure what to do
but he
ran off in the bushes before we had a chance to do anything....I hope he
had
nine lives like a cat....
