I used super glue and it is rock solid.

Subject: Re: [OBRA Chat] Fwd: Lost Powertap
I realize some people may be tired of hearing about it, but it appears
that the reason why they come off may be because the mount itself breaks
and not that the computer comes out of the mount. Another person had
their Power Tap come off but managed to catch it while he was racing.
It appears that the new mounts break where the bottom of the mount and
the top of the mount engage. The new mounts are designed that way to
allow you to pivot the systemn to install the computer mount either on
the bars or the stem, but it appears that the interface is a weak point
that tends to fatigue and break. If you look at your mounts, you might
notice that the contact point is not that large and you can easily
wiggle it. Over time, it can lead to fatigue and separation. I would
suggest that once you decide which way you want the computer mounted,
you glue the two parts of the mount together with some epoxy. It may
prevent some of the wiggling and vibration that can lead to fatigue in
the mount.
If only I had an easy solution for the fatigue in my legs.

Maybe you Powertap guys should start using a little Duct Tape or
something. The lost-my-powertap email is becoming almost as popular as
the why-don't-promoters-make-their-categories-fit-my-riding-style-better
messages.
