RE: 2008 MBSEF Summer Cycling Program

Enrollment is now open for the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education
Foundation’s Summer Cycling Program in Bend, OR
The program will offer organized road and mountain bike practices,
camps, races and clinics for youngsters age 8-18 and is currently
sponsored by Bend’s Big Fat Tour. Sponsorship opportunities are
available for 2008. See www.mbsef.org for complete details.
The road biking program, for ages 12-18, will include 4 practices per
week to take advantage of local competition opportunities (Mondays,
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:45pm to 5:15pm). Based on
interest, coaches will also be able to facilitate travel to selected
races throughout Oregon. Loaner road bikes and tuition assistance are
also available for road program members. Applications for loaner road
bikes and tuition assistance are available at www.mbsef.org and must
be submitted to MBSEF by May 9th.

The mountain bike program is designed for ages 8-14 years and will
meet 3 days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 to
5:15pm) at various Central Oregon locations. Tuition assistance will
be available for mountain bike program members.
