Maybe you can help the organizers out by getting in touch with some other older gentleman racers and decide on some races to attend. I am willing to bet that if you will show up with the numbers the organizers would put together a category for you. Oregon organizers are some of the most flexible and accommodating people around. This is a good way to contribute and be proactive instead of the alternative. And it would add some validity to your comment about being "ignored completely"
