Brian,

Which model was yours? I've got several years on a couple different
pairs of Eggbeater SLs, with no problems other than some lateral
axle/bearing slop that developed on one (I've had the same deal with
other brands of pedals too, always on the left side, so I figure it's
gotta be a consistent side-loading quirk in my stroke alignment). I
haven't heard of any issues with any of the CBs, but of course would be
curious to hear if others have had experiences like yours...

Does anyone know if Crank Brothers have done a recall on any of their
pedals? I had one break off the axle while pedaling and I'm considering
it a freak accident. I'm not interested in pursuing it unless there's a
