Well, I sure did hit a nerve with my undiplomatic posting. But, I do not regret it. The flames have kept my house warm for two days; I did not even have to turn on my furnace. So, here is the tally:
-15 replies said that I am a jerk; that seems to be almost unanimous
-4 people said "right on, Oregon racing IS pathetic"
-3 guys said I should race cat 1/2 if I'm so hot; in fact, two guys called me a stud, something I have not heard from man OR woman for at least 10 years.
-I had three phone call/hang ups after midnight last night; must be a coincidence
-my Hutch's teammates disavowed all responsibility for my words. In fact, they confiscated my jerseys. I think they were afraid that the competition would gang up on them next year. <g>
All in all, an entertaining experience, but next time I will take one guy's advice and hit the Delete button, instead of Send.
