I noticed that there are rarely any e-mails addressing racing or training

tips. Aren't there a wheel barrow load full of good racers out there who

would like to share their secrets?

Training in the rain demands a whole set of skills; proper clothing and it's

advanced layering techniques, fenders with flaps, eye wear concepts, and

glove theory. Let's start off easy. If it looks like it might rain I bring

all 3 pairs of my long fingered gloves with me. I have thin wind stopper

ones, neoprene ones and thinsulate look-like-snowboarding gloves. I don't

know about you but I have a hard time keeping the hands warm on a 3.5 hour

ride in the pouring rain. who has tips?

what about booties? I wear cycling socks, snowboarding socks, shoes, wool

socks as covers over my shoes (thnx D.S.), and then neoprene shoe covers. my

feet stay warm for almost ever ride except longer rides in constant rain.

anyone got any "warm feet all the time" tips? zippers or velcro?.huh??

all sarcasm is accepted and enjoyed?
