Okay - so you've spent all winter honing your fixed gear skills, spinning about in that minuscule (-; 42X18 gear, going anaerobic UP every hill, going anaerobic DOWN every hill....Now what?



Here's what: The ultimate fixed-gear challenge: I'm running a 24-hour road ride/event at Hagg Lake on May 11-12. As a side-bet, I'll open it up for 1-lap fixed gear timetrials. You sign up for your time between 10AM and 2PM. We'll provide timing and post results. You provide one lap of insanity. Best time wins (duh). Best of all, you can (whoo-haw!) even have a second start - absolutely FREE! - if you want to try out a different gearing combo.



The Hagg Lake 24-hour Challenge is a solo and individual timetrial on the road around Hagg Lake. 12 hour option available for solos who "only" want to ride 12 hours. Get the whole Banana Belt series - and then some - out of the way in one measly day! Great gifts and prizes, friendly, low-key competition. Lots of food. Prizes for best decorated team area, etc. Expectation: FUN.
