If that fails, get a standard post that fits the frame and drill a hole
through the seat tube and the post. Get a couple of front brake/reflector
washers that are concave on one side (to fit the cruve of the seat tube.
You may need to file them to fit exactly.) and run a bolt clear through.
You could slot the post to get height adjustment.
