Smooth pavement, a flat course and no cars. That sounds pretty good -
(hills aren't kind to me). Thanks for all the info and will look forward to
getting over there and participating.

Subject: Fwd: [OBRA Chat] PIR Question
Hi Pat,
They're circuit races on the same track/course that the cars used at
Portland International Speedway. I'm in the process of putting up an archive
of old race flyers on the web but here's some info on LAST YEARS series. I
imagine it will be similar.
I'm not sure about Mondays...but Tuesday night races basically got longer as
we went into the season and peaked around the longest day of the year (more
light).
See the misc. info below (again, this is old but will give you an idea).

I'm thinking that PIR races are Crits. Would I be right with that
assumption? If so, do you go like 45 minutes plus 5 laps or something like
that?
Thanks

I live in Bend but will be visiting Portland several times this
summer. I've poked around on the OBRA web site but can't find any
information about the PIR events. Does anyone have a URL or an old
email that can tell me about it?
Thanks
Pat
