that wasn't humor.   the point is at the very least, if these damn team "whomevers" are giving these young men drugs, at least don't kill them / let them die.    Nothing funny about it.

I have stuck my foot in mouth before, but a response like this when someone
has lost a son, brother, sister or friend (I know you are a world and thousands
of miles away from this person and his family), I do not think is
appropriate.  This  is a serious incident.  I am not
attacking you, but hope next time you think before posting.  Is that what
you want posted with regard to your death?  Sorry OBRA, but I just had to
say something.  I do think (unless the original post person had some proof
of doping) the original post made some assumptions so I do understand why
statements were made.   But it is still a person that died, not
something to be made fun.  I enjoy humor, but some time for healing
first.  Just my heart felt feeling.

my opinion is that they should at least give the poor
suckers some decent alarm clocks (plural on purpose) so they can wake up
at 2 am and do some jumping jacks.

True, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But
ones credibility is directly tied to the accuracy of the facts
underlying their opinion. For instance, it is a medical fact the
sometimes young athletes die from congenital heart defects. Wouldn't
it be embarrassing if after all this outrage it turn out that this is
the case here?

Therefore I will withhold my own opinion on
this subject until more facts become available.

Last
time I checked everyone on the chat line was entitled to expressing
their opinion. "Facts" are highly subjective in the cycling world.
Judy's comments are strongly felt sentiments from a professional. If
we ever want the cycling world to change we need to stand up against
the hypocrisy.
