Note that if you do fall off the pace and get caught/pulled, you will get a
prorated time based on the number of laps before you were pulled.
In some races you must finish at least half of the race before getting
caught (lapped) in order to continue to the next stage.

Clint, the race bible will be the place to look for the specifics of this
race.
But usually crits have very little affect on the overall standings unless a
group gets away and laps the field or there are time bonuses given away at
the finish or designated sprint laps.
Hope this helps.

I'll be doing the Cherry Blossom Stage Race and was wondering how the
criterium fit into the scoring as there shouldn't be much of a time
differential. Anybody have an idea?
