Santa Cruz mountain bikes still makes about half their frames, and anodizes
them, in portland. I realize their production isn't to scale with
Giant/Cannondale/etc.
We live in a global economy and the US Quality Of LifeĀ is built on the
backs of cheap overseas labor.
