I never ride the sidewalk. its for peds. since i am a vehicle i ride the lane, PERIOD. the bridge says "bikes on bridge" or roadway or something like that. if someone cant pass, they can wait for the traffic (which in this case is me)
i do however take enough of the lane to prevent passing when oncoming traffic is coming. if someone needs to pass and then slow down exiting the bridge they can go in the oncoming lane. 9 times out of 10 they pass and then i'm tailgating them at the bottom of the bridge. I say its irresponsible to ride on the 20" sidewalk.
