The Mt Tabor Series continues to be in a state of permit limbo.
Certain folks at the Water Bureau are telling me theres no way in
**** the reservoir work will be done until at least mid-July. Others
are telling me they are absolutely positive the roadway will be paved
by June 1 and that only the citys final inspections will be
outstanding.
So, at this point its unclear what's going to happen.
The good news is that I have a block of time in August blocked out
with the Parks Dept. should the June/July dates unravel at the last
minute. Plan B would call for a four-race series, 7/29, 8/12, 8/19
and 8/26. Note these are still alternate dates.
I plan to visit the Parks Dept. tomorrow to sort this all out. What I
do know is that I'm approaching the 11th hour in terms of my permits
and whatnot... and I'm getting very nervous.
