Re: Falls City Race on 6/13

This is really too bad as last year the Falls City XC was right there at the top of the list for our XC season. The reversed direction and new sections of trail were a treat. I thought it was all on State of Oregon Forest Service property inside the "BlackRock" recreational area... and thus not a big problem. Can it be rectified for next year?
Thanks and good luck,
ron

The DH date hasn't changed, the original XC date was yesterday. The DH race takes place on a very small track of land and the XC race needed permits from one of the timber companies and they were denied.

So you were able to get permits for the DH races on the same day the XC was going to be?

Due to permitting problems we were not able to hold an XC event at Falls City. In it's place (on the same date) we are holding the State Championship Short Track race. It will be a great course and fun will be had by everyone. The link below has the location of the race marked on Google maps, and information about the race.

I hope this helps clear up the confusion.
