Candi Murray

Today we had 322 finishers. Just over 80 riders had rain jackets and vests
and no visible number. It took hours to place all the riders. I sat at the
computer and had a hoard of riders at my shoulder as we tried to figure out
who each one might have been, based on color of rain jacket, or bike or
handlebars. When I left Baker City there were still 4 riders that we had no
idea who they might have been. All of the officials would have liked to give
them credit for finishing this event. But at what cost? And extra time. The
results were posted at the race and we will not be adding these riders into
the results. I should have grabbed the final results and gc and forgot. We
will post today's results and gc when the Chief Judge gets back to town.
Terri and Tony McCray worked almost 40 hours this weekend to get the results
out. They will certainly need some time off. Thank you guys!
