Thanks. I'm sorry that was her experience last night. Our team had three young men in that race (including my son!). We will definitely look into it and speak with them. I hope it wasn't our boys, BUT...if it was...we will deal with it appropriately. Trust me.

I have a friend whose daughter raced the Cat 3 10-14 race last night. He mentioned to me that several of the boys in that race cursed at his daughter (and her team mate) as she passed them on the course. I'm not sure specifically what was said; only that he said it was foul enough that his daughter wouldn't repeat it to him.

Just thought I'd mention this. I hate to think that these kids are picking up that kind of behavior at such an age. It makes me wonder what kind of an example parents and other racers are setting for them.
