Subject: [OBRA Chat] Tubular help
Hey All,
I got a brand new GP4000 mounted on my zipps, and during a race I must have
ran over some glass that put a big slice in it. I've used about 5 gallons
combined of Tufo's sealant, the extreme sealant, now Stans tire sealant and
its just not holding anything about 100psi, and even then it'll hold
pressure for a little while and then burst and try to reseal again. Not
inspiring any confidence to use during a race.
What else can I try? Any tips? Any other ideas? Do shops have a sekret
solution that does a better job?
This is my 3rd tubular this season on my rear wheel. Is this just how it
goes with tubies? Or am I just having crappy luck.
If you feel like writing back about how I should just ride clinchers, please
forgo that thought and move onto the next email.
Thanks!,
~drew
