Seth,

I know I just wrote to you about the idea of using a trailer. But then I
remembered some of this stuff, and thought you would & maybe others woudl
find this more useful. Check out this site, especially the Quick Release
Mounting Kit.

This guy is an awesome resource for touring parts. As you can see on page
above, he has all kinds of parts that can make a rack attach properly
to just about any bike. And if you are looking to purchase a rack, I would
highly recommend Tubus. My wife has the Tubus Cargo & Tara. They are way
better than the aluminum Blackburn racks that I have. The Tubus stuff is a
little spendy, but the durability and ease of installation and adjustment is
way ahead of other racks that I have seen.
