Re: A new velodrome inside Memorial Coliseum?

I, for one, would love it if there were an indoor track here in Portland.
Imagine 6 day racing through the winter for the road sprinters to stay in
shape, and not having the racing be limited by season, nightfall or weather!
I would like it very much if track racing didn't have to conflict directly
with the summer road season. And definitely part of what keeps track kind
of small (as far as number of participants) is the limited, seasonal use of
Alpenrose.
Also, having another track available for racing on will, perhaps, allow
Alpenrose to be renovated in a more robust fashion sometime in the future.
