Re: A new velodrome inside Memorial Coliseum?

There is no intention to make this an elite-only racing facility. The track will be designed to be much easier to ride than Alpenrose, but it will only be 200M, which makes it unsuitable for World Cup style racing. The target audience is much more the Portland bike community, including (but not limited to) OBRA racing.

>It is a great idea and one I have personally lead the parade for the last decade what is still in question is why we want a velodrome in Memorial. If it is to serve only as an elite venue (ADT) center LA than I say ney, if this would bring back the spirit of 1904 Madison Square Garden then bring it on.
