I think what Jeff is saying is: "for God's sake, if you are going to make
the effort to build a velodrome, make it a standard length so we can have
standard competitions on it!" (I'm paraphrasing :) )
I have some of the same sentiment. That said, I'll race on anything as long
as I can go fast and it's open during the winter. It's too early to talk
about this anyway.
