Craig,
There are two forms of advertising: One is sold by Versus to pay for the
airing of such sports as the TdF (TIOOYK) and local adverts (Leif's, Dosha
come to mind) to pay for local rights/distribution.
I have yet to see the end of the race, so I have no idea who/what was
advertised. If you see the commercial, that will give you an idea as to who
sold the air time (national vs local).
