I watched yesterday's early morning TdF broadcast, the coverage was interrupted by commercials with less than 300 meters to the finish. I had to sit through several commercials before I knew the results. The evening re-broadcast was fine. This was on Eugene Comcast.

Well, that doesn't appear to be true. Folks on the west side of town (I live on the east side) did not see this ad. Also, the ads overlap and block the broadcast - no official ad break. I'll bet Versus allows Comcast to run adds for a fee. In fact, the ad that blocked the finish in yesterdays stage was an add for Comcast itself.

I'm sure DirecTV's broadcast of VS programming, including commercials, is exactly the same as Comcast's, or any other carrier. They just broadcast the stuff; programming and timing of commercials are the responsibility of the network that's carrying the event.

I've already earlier called Comcast about those irritating ads and they pleaded ignorance. I'm ready to move to another carrier.
