I had my rollers in my car and the heat melted the glue which held the bands together which make (or I guess made) the front drum spin!
might be a sign?

Thanks Paul for the update.  In my memory this is the first time we've cancelled a track race because of excessive heat.  Melted sew-ups do leave a nasty smell. Stay cool everyone.
