Hello OBRA land,
As some of you may be aware I have been selected to represent the US at the
cyclocross world championships this month in Italy. I am a discretionary
selection which means I am required to pay my own way. I greatly appreciate
all the support you all have show me in the past in such endeavors and have
gained invaluable experience through these opportunities. Once again I am
in need of your support. The total cost for the trip is $1850. I have been
able to raise about half of this amount so far. If anyone in OBRA land
would like to offer any additional funding it would be greatly appreciated.
OBRA in general has
always been very supportive of young riders and I feel that a lot of my
success as a bicycle racer is due to this. I will be forever thankful for
such a great group of people who not only race bikes but believe they make
the world a better place to live. Thank you all very much.

The Knight's of the 'Cross Crusade (aka Club Vivo) are pledging $500 to the
cause. And despite earlier threats, we are not even going to require him to
shave his melon to get it.
We hereby challenge the greater OBRA membership to beat our pledge and get
Barry over to Monopoli to let his substantial flowing mane fly in the
coastal breeze off the Adriatic Sea.
