Hello everyone,



Over the past few weeks you have been reading about the upcoming OBRA

annual meeting and banquet (among a few other topics...)



Later in the day (Saturday) will be the annual OBRA meeting for team

reps and other interested parties as well. We don't have an extensive

list of items to be covered at this time, as you may recall the recent

thread about a proposed rule change for championship racing..... it did

not result in any request for a slot for discussion of a formal rule

change.   It's not too late to get items on the schedule for discussion.



One item that is on the agenda is reelection of board members. This

year we have two positions that are open. One of them is the position

that I presently occupy which takes care of the equipment that is used

at the races such as finish line video, timing. audio, power generation

etc. As much as practical, needed repairs are taken care of at the

internal level to keep operating expenses as low as possible which in

turn keeps OBRA's fees as low as possible. So at this time I will

revert to my shameless commerce department and state that I would be

willing to continue on as a board member in the same capacity if you,

the members of OBRA through your team reps vote at the meeting next

Saturday so choose.
