Thanks for all the information and recommendations. I'm at 210 right now,

should drop to 200 by April. I plan to use them for road races, crits or

PIR type races. I got a pair of rolf comps with my bike and they went out

of true. I loosened all the spokes and had a local shop redo them and that

made a huge difference. Much tighter and they felt stronger. Problem is,

I've got a ton of miles on them. My day to day wheels are Mavic Open Pro

with 32 steel spokes. I bought them pre built and they also went out of

true. I did the same thing with them, loosened all the spokes and had a pro

tighten and true and they have been solid since.

I will gather the information and see what looks good and have it hand built

from the start.

BTW I did find a new set of wheels from Zipp. They are built the same way,

but with extra spokes and they label them "404 Clydesdale Clincher". They

cost a lot, though.

Thanks again,

Pat Sagers
