Re: SoBe Mt. Bike Series Racers please reply...why

I think there many more races on the schedule. I have gone to fewer races

this year because:

1.) The courses are too short. What has happened to the 25-35 miles single

loop races of old. Five to 10 mile laps are not appealing. I will not go to

a NORBA National because of this.

2.) The entry fees are high. As a race promoter I understand how expensive

it can be to run a race but as a racer I would give up some extras for a

great course. I come back to races for the course.

3.) I have seen fewer flyers for the races. Most of the info I have

received has been on this list and less than a week before the event.

4.) I promoted the Cascade Cream Puff this year. That took a tremendous

amount of time. Thanks to all who helped to make it a success.

I much prefer OBRA to NORBA as both a racer and a promoter. Less expensive

and easier to deal with.

Why are the Cross Country(XC) numbers level or down????   Please give us

some feed back, as we are surprised by the lack XC racers at races this

year WHY???   Are you happy with OBRA or would you rather go back to

norba?   Number of races...Too Many or Too Few??   Fees..are you happy with

the fees you are charged.   Are you getting series and race flyers...does

your local shop have race flyers for the series and each race...if not who

are they and we'll get them some.     WHAT IS GOING ON PLEASE LET US KNOW
