The passion for the track never materialized.   Would you post this to

OBRA for me?

62cm GT Track Bike with carbon fork and Dura-Ace group. CXP30 tubular

wheels and brand new tubes.   The wheels have never been on the track and

the frame has less than 250miles of fixed gear training.   $800.

I also have an open pro training wheel with 20t cog for $125.

I can be reached at

or

Thanks

Does this mean that you are not going to race the track? Or are you

upgrading?

There were only 2 GT track bikes. Both used the same frame but the

fancier model had a carbon fork and Dura-Ace group.

I am selling the Fuji Pro, which is a similar frame, with a Miche

(slightly less expensive) group for $750. I would expect you could sell

your bike around that price.

Greetings Murrays.

I am trying to establish a value for my track bike.   Then I will either

post to OBRA or try to sell to someone like Sellwood Cycles.

Here is what I have:

The frame is a 62cm GT track frame.   I believe it is one notch higher

than the ones that OBRA purchased(not completely sure)

The bike has CXP30 tubulars with brand new tubes

The equipment is Dure Ace

In additon I have an almost new rear open pro training wheel with a 20t

cog.   The bike has the conventional track bars as well as a training bar

with front bikes.

It is ready for the track or fixed gear training.   The total investment

is appx 1100 for original bike and probably another 175 for the rear

wheel and the misc in the front brakes(cheap brand) and bar.   The bike

has NEVER been on the track so the tubes are brand new and I probably

have less than 250 miles worth of fixed gear training.

Any idea what sort of price point I should use for this bike.   I will

try to confirm the size and make of frame this evening, and then would

ask that you post this to OBRA for me.   For some reason I am

unsubscribed from OBRA which is probably a good thing as I have missed

most of the winter dietary threads and random dog alerts.   I would like

to resubsribe to the results/schedule page if Candy would be so kind as

to do that for me.

Scott

You guys never took me up on your offer to buy you dinner for all of your

help over the past couple of years.

Mike,

Last summer after watching many races out at the veledrome I dusted of my

old

Kubuki track bike and did a few of the Wednesday training sessions. What a

blast and a wonderfull experience to add to my 30 years of cycling. That

enthusiation I had was short lived when I was rear ended last August on my

way to the track. My old track bike was totaled and I ended up with two

bulged disk. In the spirit of a fast recovery and an excuse now to by a new

track bike a purchased the LUNA bike from Jack at En Selle. I had this bike

out on the track about 4 times trying to adjust and fit my poor back. My

last

attempt included a 40 Deg. by 135 stem and a suspension seat post. The

suspension seatpost worked well but the raised stem was squirly handling. I

have come to the conclusion and will accept my limitations and stick to my

road bikes. Sorry about the rambling on. I will get to the point. I have

decided to sale my Luna : Dura-ace and CXP30 glueup wheels. I have $1,600

invested and looking for a quick sale. I will settle for $1,000 firm. This

is a beautiful riding bike and will make a real pro ride for someone with a

good back. I hope to do a complete upgrade to my favorite ol' Raleigh

Triathlon : Reynolds 531 lugged frame built in England. Please pass the word

about the LUNA. Its like brand-new not a scratch.

Thanks
