Eugene Cycling Team
Presents the
Mid Valley Criterium Series
Every Tuesday during the Dog Day of August
August 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
Location: Greenhill Technology Park in Eugene, OR. This is the same=20
course used for the 1999 and 1998 Tour of Willamette Criterium Stage. This=20
is a fast 1-kilo course with wide corners and excellent pavement.
Directions: From the north and south on I-5 take exit 195B west (Beltline=20
Hwy.). Continue on the Beltline to Highway 126 and turn right=20
(west). Continue approximately =BC mile and then right on Terry Street.
Times: 5:30PM Registration opens.
6:00PM Juniors 20 minutes=20
plus 1 lap
6:30PM Women all; Men Cat. 4 / 5 (scored separately) 20 minutes=20
plus 2 laps
7:00PM Men Cat. 1 3 45 minutes=20
plus 2 laps
Scoring / prizes:
A combination of merchandise and cash will be awarded for the overall=20
series winners and will vary based on number of participants. Points will=20
be awarded each week as follows: 1st 16 points, 2nd 12 points, 3rd 10=20
points, 4th 8 points, 5th 6 points, 6th 4 points, 7th 2 points, 8th 1=20
point.
Fees: $3 for Juniors; $5 for all others. Registration on race day only.
This is an OBRA BAR event and all riders must be OBRA members or must=20
purchase single a day membership for $5 or annual membership for $15. More=20
