Crusade callup procedure

There have been a lot of questions about the Alpenrose callup. Here is how it works.
First, we take the top 5 in each category based on how racers finished at 4 early season races. These races and procedure was spelled out in earlier messages on OBRA Chat. The races were Hood River Double Cross days one and two, Zandercross, and Barlow. The points are tracked at: https://obra.org/events/22228/results.
Second, we take the top finishers from the 2012 Cross Crusade Series. If you did well in our series last year we want to reward your results with a callup this year.
I will try to adjust the callup list to remove people who have been upgraded out of their old category. Please let me know when you see such an error. I will update the list.
If you have been upgraded by OBRA this week, let me know and I will put you on the callup list in your new category. During the Crusade you will get a callup in your new category at your FIRST Crusade race in your new category. Since I am not clairvoyant you must notify me of your first race in your new category and what your new category will be.
The number of people called up in each category depends upon two things. The number of people who typically race in that category and the competition level of the category. The masters 35+ C men is a large category so 35 people are called up in that category. There are very few people in the 60+ men category so very few of them get called up. I have a formula that I use in Excel that figures it all out.

After Alpenrose the callups will be based on Crusade series points.

Callups are very important and we take it seriously. We have adjusted the procedure many times over the years.

If you see an error, let me know. Thanks for racing. -Jon
